Cheers To 2022!

Ever since the pandemic has started, the concept of time has become blurrier for me as the days go by. Sometimes I breeze through the days, full of productivity, and other days feel like they drag on.

I spent the last couple of weeks of 2021 looking back at the year, so I could learn from my wins and my losses. I tend to be more ambitious and in a lot of ways the pandemic hasn’t stopped that. There are goals I accomplished and I’m proud of my progress. Everything didn’t go my way, but I’m happy knowing I spent my energy and my time moving towards my goals.

I noticed a couple of people started talking about the word they were using for 2022. The idea is that your personal word will represent your hopes, goals, and overall vibe for 2022. As a planner and lover of words, I appreciated this idea. So, as I was thinking about my life, the main word I decided on was bold, yes BOLD.

When I say bold, what I mean is moving confidently towards my goals and using my past to inform those decisions. For me, this still means wearing a mask and taking the precautions to keep myself + my community protected. Despite everything happening in the world, I still want a piece of magic in my life. And in some ways, I think prioritizing confidence, joy and rest is one small way I can be an advocate for myself.

It turns out that 2022 is also the Year of the Tiger (which officially starts February 1, 2022). I usually don’t know this, but Passion Planner has planner with this theme. In the past, my Passion Planner’s have been either black or pink (also rose gold). But, as soon as I saw the red Passion Planner, I knew it was the perfect addition for 2022. If you’re interested in a 2022 planner, I highly recommend Passion Planners. They also have different types based on your lifestyle.

Regardless of the word you chose for the new year, I hope your 2022 is full of health and joy! Do you have a word for 2022? How do you want your life to feel?
